Kauai Medical clinic evolved from Wilcox Hospital. The main office is adjacent to Wilcox Memorial Hospital with satellite clinics throughout the Island. The clinic includes approximately 72 physicians and mid-level providers offering 22 medical specialties at six locations on Kauai.

Samuel Mahelona is the oldest operating hospital on Kauai. Within the last several years it expanded to provide emergency medical care to residents and visitors on Kauai’s east side. Together with the West Kauai Medical Center, it is part of a Statewide health care system known as Hawaii Health Systems Corporation which is based in Honolulu.

The West Kauai Medical Center /Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital, located in Waimea on Kauai’s west side, was dedicated to the Veteran’s of the Korean War and provides emergency and wellness care for Kauai’s Westside residents and visitors.
